Herbs traditionally considered galactagogues (or herbs that increase breast milk supply during lactation) often double as tasty digestive herbs, often packed with a bounty of vitamins and minerals. It’s delicious both iced and hot.
Add 1 tablespoon of tea for each cup of boiling water. Cover the kettle, remove from heat and let steep for 15-20 minutes. Drink one cup 2-3 times per day.
Not for use during pregnancy. May cause maple syrup odour in urine. May lower blood sugar in large amounts.
